Hinweis: Der Einfachheit halber wird in den Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen nur die männliche Form verwendet. Die Begriffe beziehen sich jedoch immer auch auf Tagungsteilnehmerinnen.

A: ANMELDUNG ZUR TAGUNG

1. Anmeldeverfahren und Gebühren

Die Tagung wird von der Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt veranstaltet.

Die Anmeldung zur Tagung kann entweder online (https://leucorea.de/lutherforscherkongress2017/anmeldung/) oder schriftlich mit einem Anmeldeformular erfolgen. Gegen die Entrichtung der Kongressgebühr (240,00- €; Ermäßigungen s.u.) erwirbt man sich mit der Anmeldung den Anspruch auf einen Tagungsausweis (Anstecker). Die Tagungsgebühr enthält die Plenarvorträge, die Seminare und die Empfänge (30.7., 31.7., 1.8. und 3.8. 2017)

Plenarreferenten, Mitglieder des Continuation Committee sowie des Local Committee sind von der Kongressgebühr befreit. Plenarreferenten, Mitglieder des Continuation Committee sowie des Local Committee melden sich bitte ausschließlich über das Anmeldeformular an.

Es können nur Dauerkarten für Einzelteilnehmer (240,00- €; Ermäßigungen s.u.) oder Dauerkarten für Teilnehmer mit Begleitperson (300,00- €) gebucht werden.

Bei Anmeldung nach dem 31. 8. 2016 wird ein Zuschlag zur Kongressgebühr in Höhe von 60,00- €  erhoben.

Die Anmeldung ist online bis 30.6.2017 möglich. Bei Anmeldung ab 1.7.2017 ist nur noch Barzahlung im Kongressbüro möglich.

Eine Ermäßigung erhalten Studierende. Sie zahlen eine Kongressgebühr von 50,00- €. Die Vorlage einer Berechtigung im Kongressbüro ist Bedingung. Weitere Ermäßigungen im Einzelfall auf Anfrage möglich. In Zweifelsfällen gibt das Kongressbüro Auskunft (congress@2017.martinluther.de).

Umbuchungen oder Stornierungen können schriftlich oder durch e-mail erfolgen. Gegen ein Bearbeitungsentgelt in Höhe von 40,00 € kann eine gebuchte Teilnahme storniert werden. Eine Stornierung mit Rückzahlung der Kongressgebühr ist nur bis zum 31.5.2017 möglich.

 

2. Buchung der vom Veranstalter selbst angebotenen Leistungen des Rahmenprogramms

a) Exkursion nach Torgau

Die Buchung von Tickets erfolgt mit der Anmeldung zur Tagung. Der Eintritt beläuft sich auf 60,00- € pro Person (keine Ermäßigung). Eine Stornierung ist dem Tagungsbüro vor Beginn der Tagung bis zum 30.6.2017 per Mail mitzuteilen.

b) Eintrittskarte Abschlussbankett

 Die Buchung von Eintrittskarten für das Abschlussbankett erfolgt mit der Anmeldung zur Tagung. Der Eintritt beläuft sich auf 60,00- €.  Eine Stornierung ist dem Tagungsbüro vor Beginn der Tagung bis zum 30.6.2017 per Mail mitzuteilen.

c) Karten für die unter a) und b) genannten Veranstaltungen werden im Kongressbüro ausgegeben.

B: VERMITTLUNG VON LEISTUNGEN DES RAHMENPROGRAMMS

1. Der Veranstalter tritt ausschließlich als Vermittler von Leistungen der jeweiligen Anbieter im Rahmenprogramm auf. Der Veranstalter vermittelt Verträge im Namen und auf Rechnung der jeweiligen Anbieter. Dem vermittelten Vertrag können eigene Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen des jeweiligen Anbieters zugrunde liegen.

2. Vermittelte Wochenendreise von 5. auf 6. August 2017

Die Wochenendreise vom 5. auf den 6. August 2017 wird von Christian Tours Europe angeboten.

Die angebotene Wochenendreise ist ein Nach-, Zwischen- bzw. Vorprogramm. Sie wird auch von der internationalen, interdisziplinären Tagung Kulturelle Wirkungen der Reformation genutzt.

Die Wochenendreise kann nur durchgeführt werden, wenn mindestens 40 Teilnehmer bis zum 15. Mai 2017 gebucht haben. Bei Nichterreichen der festgesetzten Mindestteilnehmerzahl ist der Veranstalter berechtigt, vom Vertrag zurückzutreten. Sind alle Plätze ausgebucht, besteht kein Anspruch auf Vermittlung weiterer Plätze. Falls die Wochenendreise entfällt, wird der im Voraus bezahlte Betrag erstattet.  Bei ausgebuchten Kontingenten wird eine Warteliste angelegt, die keinen Anspruch auf einen Exkursionsplatz begründet.

Eine Stornierung der Buchung ist möglich:
- kostenfrei bis zu 10 Wochen vor Beginn
- mit 20% Gebühr bis 8 Wochen vor Beginn
- mit 40% Gebühr bis 4 Wochen vor Beginn
- mit 70% Gebühr bis 1 Woche vor Beginn
Bei Absage weniger als eine Woche vor Beginn oder Nichterscheinen besteht kein Anspruch auf Rückzahlung.

Der Teilnehmer ist selbst für alle Visa- und Reisepassangelegenheiten, Kranken- und Reiseversicherungen verantwortlich. Den Teilnehmern wird der Abschluss einer Reise- und Krankenversicherung empfohlen. Die Teilnehmer sollten in der Lage sein, Treppen zu steigen (manchmal auch viele) und eine angemessene Strecke zu Fuß zurück zu legen.

Alle Preisangaben netto und in Euro. Die Preise gelten für 2017.

Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand ist Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

Haftungsausschluss

Veranstalter dieser Reise ist ‘Christian Tours Europe’ (CTE).

Weder die Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt noch die Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg sind Inhaber oder Mitinhaber der Unternehmen und  Anbieter, die für diese Reise Dienstleistungen erbringen und erbringen werden und sind mit diesen in keiner Weise  verbunden. Diese Firmen sind nicht nur CTE, sondern auch Hotels und andere Beherbergungseinrichtungen; Sehenswürdigkeiten; Transportunternehmen zu Luft, Land, oder Wasser; und Restaurants oder andere gastronomische Einrichtungen. Dementsprechend sind weder die Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt noch die Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg verantwortlich für Todesfälle, Verletzungen jeglicher Art, Verlust von Privateigentum, Verspätungen oder Unannehmlichkeiten verursacht durch eine fahrlässige oder vorsätzliche Handlung oder Unterlassung hervorgerufen durch diese Unternehmen bzw. Anbieter. Weiterhin sind die Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt als auch die Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg nicht verantwortlich für Todesfälle, Verletzungen jeglicher Art, Verlust von Privateigentum, Verspätungen oder Unannehmlichkeiten verursacht durch höhere Gewalt, Regierungshandlungen, Kriegsgeschehnisse, Gewerkschaftskonflikte, kriminelle oder terroristische Handlungen, oder jegliche andere Gewalttat. Ich verstehe und akzeptiere, dass diese Reise ausschließlich nach und unter Berücksichtigung der deutschen Gesetze stattfindet. Ebenso verstehe und akzeptiere ich die Bedingungen unter denen die Reise stattfindet, insbesondere hinsichtlich der Flüge, Gesundheit, Zahlungen, Rückerstattungsbedingungen, Versicherung und die Selbstverantwortung von Reiseteilnehmern.

3. Hotel/Zimmerreservierung (Unterbringung)

Alle Teilnehmer sind selbst für die Organisation ihrer Unterbringung verantwortlich. Der Tagungsveranstalter bietet lediglich Informationen zu Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten (https://leucorea.de/lutherforscherkongress2017/anmeldung/). Eine Ausnahme bilden Plenarreferenten sowie Mitglieder des Continuation Committee sowie des Local Committee. Diese Personen werden von der Tagungsorganisation direkt informiert.

C: ZAHLUNGSMODALITÄTEN

1.ONLINE-BUCHUNG

Bei Anmeldung über das Online-Anmeldesystem oder mit dem pdf-Anmeldeformular wird eine Rechnung versandt, die vom Teilnehmer ohne Abzug unverzüglich zu begleichen ist.

2. Bei Anmeldung ab 1. Juli 2017 ist nur noch Barzahlung im Kongressbüro möglich. Zahlungen können im Tagungsbüro nur in bar abgewickelt werden (keine Kartenzahlung).

D: VERANSTALTUNGSTERMINE

Der Veranstalter behält sich vor, einzelne Veranstaltungen in Abweichung von sämtlichen Formen der Programmübersicht kurzfristig zu verschieben oder abzusagen. Für daraus entstehende Schäden des Tagungsteilnehmers übernimmt der Veranstalter keine Haftung. Ein Anspruch des Tagungsteilnehmers auf Rückzahlung der Kongressgebühr oder eines Teils derselben entsteht hierdurch nicht.

E: NUTZUNG VON VERANSTALTUNGSUNTERLAGEN

Vorträge und Veranstaltungsunterlagen genießen den Schutz des Urheberrechtsgesetzes. Nutzungsrechte werden nur durch ausdrückliche schriftliche Nutzungsrechtseinräumung übertragen

F: HAFTUNG

Die vertragliche und deliktische Haftung des Veranstalters ist auf Schäden aus der schuldhaften Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers und der Gesundheit sowie auf sonstige vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig verursachte Schäden beschränkt und im Übrigen ausgeschlossen, soweit nicht eine vertragswesentliche Pflicht verletzt wird. Die Schadenshöhe wird auf den typischerweise entstehenden Schaden begrenzt.

In Bezug auf vermittelte Leistungen der Unterbringung und des Rahmenprogramms haftet der Veranstalter nicht für den Vermittlungserfolg und die tatsächliche und mangelfreie Erbringung der Leistungen.

G: ERFÜLLUNGSORT, GERICHTSSTAND, RECHTSWAHL

Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand ist Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

H: RECHTLICHE VERBINDLICHKEIT

Rechtlich verbindlich ist alleine die deutsche Fassung der Bedingungen für die Anmeldung zur Tagung sowie für die Vermittlung von Leistungen des Rahmenprogramms. Bei der englischsprachigen Version handelt es sich lediglich um eine Serviceleistung ohne rechtliche Wirkung.

 

Terms and Conditions

A: REGISTRATION

1) Registration and fees

The host of the congress is the Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt.

The registration for the congress can be made either online (https://leucorea.de/lutherforscherkongress2017/anmeldung/) or by posting or faxing a printout of the pdf-registration-form.

Upon payment of the congress fee (240,00 €; see below for concessions) you will receive a congress card. The congress fee includes the plenary sessions, the seminars and the receptions (30 and 31 July, 1 and 3 August 2017).

Plenary speakers, members of the Continuation Committee and Local Committee are exempted from the congress fee. Plenary speakers, members of the Continuation Committee and Local Committee are requested to register by the pdf-registration form only.

Continuation tickets can only be booked by single participants (240 €) and participants attending with a companion (300 €).

Registrations received later than 31 August 2016 will incur a surcharge fee of 60,00 €.

Online registration is possible until 30 June 2017. From 1 July 2017 registration fees must be paid in cash at the congress office.

A reduced congress fee of 50,00 € is available for students. Please present an enrolment certificate at congress office. Other concessions may be available upon request. Please contact the congress office (congress@2017.martinluther.de).

Changes and cancellations can only be made by post or e-mail for a fee of 40,00 €. Full reimbursement is only possible until 31 May 2017.

 2.Booking of events of the Framework Program provided by the host

a) Excursion to Torgau

Booking of tickets for the excursion to Torgau must be made together with the congress registration. The entrance to the concerts is 60,00 € per person (no concessions).  Ticket cancellations are only possible prior to the beginning of the congress until 30 June 2017. Cancellations should be made per e-mail to the congress office.

b) Closing Banquet

Tickets for the closing banquet must be booked in conjunction with congress registration. Entry to the banquet costs 60,00 € per person (no concessions). Ticket cancellations are only possible prior to the beginning of the congress until 30 June 2017. Cancellations should be made per e-mail to the congress office.

c) The tickets for the excursion and the banquet will be distributed during the congress by the congress organizers.

B: PROCUREMENT OF EVENTS OF THE FRAMEWORK PROGRAM

1. In the case of certain events comprising the Framework Program (Weekend Trip), the host is solely the procurer of the services of other providers and therefore procures contracts in the name and on account of the provider. The procured contracts can be subject to the AGB of the provider.

 2. Procured Weekend Trip from 5 to 6 August 2017

The weekend trip from 5 to 6 of August 2017 will be provided by Christian Tours Europe.

The weekend trip is a program running before, during and after the congress and will also be used by the conference “Kulturelle Wirkungen der Reformation”.

The weekend trip will only take place if at least 40 participants have lodged their booking by 15 May 2017. Should the minimum attendance fail to be reached, the provider is within their rights to renege on the contract. In the case that the contingents are booked out, no entitlement for the procurement of further tickets exists. In the case that the weekend trip cannot take place, the charge paid in advance will be refunded in cash at the congress office.  In the case that the contingents are booked out a waiting list will be provided. An entry in a waiting list is not an entitlement to tickets for the weekend trip.

Cancellation possibilities and other regulations:

• The entire tour, a portion of it, or individual tour members may be cancelled without a fee up to ten weeks prior to departure. A 20% fee is required for cancellation made ten to eight weeks prior to departure, a 40% fee is required for cancellation made eight to four weeks prior to departure. A 70% fee is required for cancellation made less than four weeks to one week prior to departure. No refund for cancellation made less than one week prior to departure or no-show. Group rates are subject to change if size of group varies due to cancellation.
• Airfares are not included.
• Booking party is responsible for all visa, health and passport regulations.
• Participants are encouraged to purchase trip insurance to cover health, trip cancellation and loss of baggage.
• Participants should be able to climb stairs (sometimes many) without assistance and to walk at a modest pace for a mile at a time.
• Notification of double/single occupancy and the names of the participants should be received 10 weeks in advance.
• All rates are net without commission and in Euro.
• Rates are applicable for 2017.
• In the event that any dispute arises on which any party has a right to assert a civil claim related to this tour agreement, the exclusive jurisdiction for that claim shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction, located in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany.

I understand that the tour operator for this trip is Christian Tours Europe (“CTE”). Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg do not own or operate any of the firms or vendors that are expected to or will provide goods or services for this trip. Those firms include, but are not limited to: CTE; any hotels or other lodging establishments; sightseeing attractions; air, land or water transportation companies; and restaurants or other eating establishments.  As a result, Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg are not responsible for any death, injury of any sort, loss of property, delay or inconvenience occasioned by any negligent or willful act or omission of any such firm or vendor. In addition, the Stiftung Luthergedenkstätten in Sachsen-Anhalt and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg are not responsible for any death, injury of any sort, loss of property, delay or inconvenience occasioned by force majeure or other acts of God, acts of government, acts of war, labor discord, criminal or terrorist conduct, or for any other act, action or inaction, whether negligent or otherwise, by any entity which they do not own or operate. I understand and accept that this trip is operated exclusively under German Law. I also understand and accept the conditions under which the trip will be conducted, particularly those which apply to flights, health, payments, refund policy, insurance and participant’s responsibilities.

The sale of this trip to you is specifically conditioned on your agreeing to these terms and conditions.

3. Hotel / Rooms (Accomodation)

All participants are personally responsible for the organisation of their accommodation. The host only provides informations to accommodation possibilities (https://leucorea.de/lutherforscherkongress2017/anmeldung/). The plenary speakers, members of the Continuation Committee and Local Committee are an exception and will be informed by the congress organisation directly.

C: PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS

1. ONLINE BOOKING

Once you have completed the online registration or, alternatively, submitted our PDF registration form by mail, you will be sent an invoice which is to be paid immediately. Registration is only valid upon full receipt of payment.

2. Registrations after 30 June 2017 can only be paid by cash at the congress office.

D: PAYMENTS (during the congress)

The congress office can only accept cash payment (no credit card or EC-card payment possible). Payments at the congress office can only be made in cash.

E: CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The host reserves the right to postpone or to cancel individual events (symposiums and free sections) in deviation of the calendar of events that has been given on all form of congress program. No liability will be taken for any damages suffered by a congress participant resulting from such a postponement or cancellation.

F: USE OF CONGRESS DOCUMENTS

Presentations and congress documents are liable to the German Copyright Act. Rights of use will be transferred exclusively by explicit granting of the right of use in writing.

G: LIABILITY

The contractual and tortious liability of the host is limited to damages of culpable injury of life, body or health and other deliberately or grossly negligently induced damages, and for the rest excluded, except if a liability essential to the contract is broken.

Regarding procured services for other providers, the host shall not be liable for successful procuration of arrangements and performances concerning the cultural program, or for accommodation, nor for the actual and faultless supply of the service.

H: JURISDICTION, PLACE OF FULFILMENT, CHOICE OF LAW

Jurisdiction and place of fulfilment is Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is exclusively applicable.

I: JUDICIAL LIABILITY

Only the German version of the General Terms and Conditions of the congress is judicially liable. The English version is merely a service and has no judicial effect.
