According to its statute, the LEUCOREA Foundation supports the preservation and development of the sciences in research, teaching and studies at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and promotes and organises research on the history of the Reformation as well as its cultural impact up to the present.
Events
Seminars, conferences, conventions and continuing education events which take place at the LEUCOREA and are in line with the Foundation’s aims can be given special conditions for the use of rooms and overnight stays of participants.
Scientific Projects, Scholarships
For the promotion of research and teaching, the LEUCOREA can award financial, material and staff funding to specific projects, as well as award scholarships to students, scientists and conference participants.
Conditions for Funding and Grant Procedure
Applications for funding are decided upon by the Foundation’s board of directors, according to the regulations on funding of scientific projects at the LEUCOREA Foundation, agreed upon by the board of trustees.
